Clash of Clans: Is Town Hall 16 coming in the Spring 2023 update?
The highly anticipated Spring 2023 update for Clash of Clans is presumably on the way. While we don’t have an exact release date, the update is expected to arrive this month.
Updates to Clash of Clans occur every couple of months and introduce new features, Troops, Defenses and sometimes entirely new mechanics. One of the larger features added to the game recently was the Clan Capital. And currently, Supercell is hard at work on a revamped Builder Base. However, one of the biggest things players look forward to with an update is a new Town Hall level.
Town Hall 15 was introduced into Clash of Clans back in October 2022, in what was the largest update ever to Clash of Clans. With it came new Defenses, the Electro Titan Troop, the Battle Drill Siege Machine, the Recall Spell, new Hero Pets and more.
The release of a new Town Hall serves as a way to renew interest in Clash of Clans as it gives veteran players something new to work towards. It’s now been six months since the release of Town Hall 15 and with a new update right around the corner, you may be wondering if Town Hall 16 is coming with it.
Clash of Clans: Is Town Hall 16 coming in the Spring 2023 update?
Supercell hasn’t started the sneak peeks for the Spring 2023 update yet, but I can say with almost 100 percent certainty that the update will not feature Town Hall 16. Supercell has previously stated that they aim for a length “of about 18 months between introducing new Town Hall levels.”
Looking at Supercell’s past release schedule, Town Hall 14 was released back in Spring 2021 followed by Town Hall 15 in October 2022. If Supercell sticks to this same release cadence than Town Hall 16 probably won’t be released until sometime in 2024. 18 months from October’s Town Hall 15 release would be around April 2024, so mark your calenders.
What’s coming to Clash of Clans in the Spring 2023 update?
Again, Supercell hasn’t started the official sneak peeks but their last few community updates have focused on one major feature: Builder Base 2.0. The Builder Base revamp has been a huge focus for Supercell and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it come to the game with this update. Supercell even stated in their most recent blog post, “The Builder Base 2.0 update is drawing near…” Does that mean the Spring update is being dubbed the “Builder Base 2.0 update?” We don’t know for certain, but it seems likely.
