Clash of Clans October update: Four new Hero Pets revealed for TH15
The third sneak peek for the upcoming October 2022 update for Clash of Clans was shared today. Supercell revealed four new Hero Pets will be arriving with Town Hall 15. They are Frosty, Diggy, Poison Lizard and Phoenix. Let’s take a closer look at each.
When Town Hall 15 arrives, you’ll have the ability to upgrade your Pet House to a max level of 8. Each new level, from 5 through 8, will unlock one of the new Pets. Here are the details:

- Upgrade Cost: 19.75M Elixir
- Upgrade Time: 19d
- Hit Points: 1050
- Unlocks Frosty
Pet House Level 6
- Upgrade Cost: 20M Elixir
- Upgrade Time: 19.25d
- Hit Points: 1100
- Unlocks Diggy
Pet House Level 5
- Upgrade Cost: 20.25M Elixir
- Upgrade Time: 19.5d
- Hit Points: 1150
- Unlocks Poison Lizard
Pet House Level 5
- Upgrade Cost: 20.5M Elixir
- Upgrade Time: 19.75d
- Hit Points: 1200
- Unlocks Phoenix
Frosty is a seal, of sorts, that will slow down enemies with his icy breath. He’ll target anything within 4.5 tiles of the Hero and can attack both ground and air units. In addition to his icy breath, little Frostmites — small balls of ice — will occasionally jump off and attack nearby enemy defenses, slowing them down as well.
I don’t know what kind of creature Diggy is a tunneling tank that burros underground beside his Heroa nd will pop up to stun and attack nearby defenses. He will attack the Hero’s target, as long as it’s on the ground. Should the Hero that Diggy is attached to be defeated, Diggy will search for a new Hero to bond to during the fight.
The Poison Lizard is a deadly damage pet with quick ranged attacks that deal Poison damage to defending Heroes and Troops, while also slowing them down. If no enemy units are nearby, the Poison Lizard will assist the Hero in attacking Buildings, although these will not be affected by the slowing effect.
The fourth and final new Hero Pet is the Phoenix. The Phoenix is capable of reviving herself and her Hero under a temporary shield of invulnerability. The Hero will be knocked out when the shield expires, but the Phoenix will continue fighting.
The theme of Town Hall 15 seems to be all about giving players choices to customize their attack and defense strategies to their playstyle. From the TH15 Giga Inferno to the new Monolith defense, it’s all about giving you more options based on your defensive or offensive needs.
