As the NBA revealed the first round of fan voting for this year’s NBA All-Star Game, 2K released the third player ratings update for NBA 2K21. The update is now live on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

It reflects the performances of players around the league since the last update, which arrived in late January. Specifically, frontcourt players such as Eastern Conference stars Joel Embiid and Western Conference stars Rudy Gobert and Christian Wood were among those who saw their ratings increase with this update.

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid increased one point to 94 overall. He is now tied with Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard and Nikola Jokic for the 4th best overall rating in the game. He’s also tied with Nikola Jokic as the best-rated center. In 17 games played this season, Joel Embiid is leading all centers in points per game (28.6) and is 7th in rebounds per game (11.2).

Utah Jazz Center Rudy Gobert also increased a point to 88 overall, and he is now the 13th best-rated frontcourt player in NBA 2K21. He’s tied with Orlando Magic Center Nikola Vucevic as the 5th best-rated Center in the game.

Other All-Star candidates who saw increases from their impressive performances include Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown (+1, 89 OVR) and Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (+1, 88 OVR). They are ranked 9th and 10th, respectively, among backcourt players in NBA 2K21, while both are the 5th-best rated at their respective positions.

Toronto Raptors shooting guard Fred VanVleet saw his overall jump by two points to a 86. The 26-year-old, fresh off signing the biggest contract for an undrafted free agent in NBA history this offseason, recently broke a Raptors’ franchise record with 54 points in a single-game (besting DeMar DeRozan’s 52 points). It was also the most points ever scored by an undrafted player in NBA history, surpassing Moses Malone’s 53 points. Suffice to say, his performance this week warranted the two-point jump.

Here are the list of top movers in NBA 2K21’s player ratings update #4 (as of February 4, 2021):
