In NBA 2K24 MyTeam, the goal is to create the best team possible from the cards that you collect. Sometimes the cards that you collect don’t always make it onto your team and you may end up selling them on the market. If you plan on selling your cards, you want to get as much value as possible from selling them. If you are looking to increase the value of your MyTeam cards, you have the ability to get them graded.

Grading MyTeam cards increase the overall value of the cards in NBA 2K24

Grading cards is not a new feature to the MyTeam game mode. However, grading cards has been tweaked a little bit this year. If you remember from NBA 2K23, grading cards would give you a MyTeam bonus for using them. That feature has been taken away this year. Instead, grading cards in NBA 2K24 MyTeam will boost the overall value of the card.

This is similar to the way card collecting works in real life. If you are a card collector and you want a card graded, you can send it in to get graded. If it scores a high grade, you can potentially see your card’s value be boosted up by a couple hundred or even thousands of dollars. The same is true for NBA 2K24 MyTeam card grading.

How to grade your MyTeam cards

When you are ready to grade some of the cards you have collected, you are going to want to scroll over to the “Collect” tab and scroll down to “Card Grading.” From here you will be able to create a new card grading order and select up to 10 cards you would like to have graded. You can send one card, three cards, or ten cards at once.

The more cards that you select to have graded, the better of a discounted price you will receive. Choosing to send one card grants you no discount. Choosing to send three cards at a time grants you a 10% discount, and choosing to send ten cards at a time will grant you a 15% discount off of the total cost. Just remember that any cards you plan on getting graded will be unavailable to use for the specified time.

After your cards are done being graded, you can view the grade that each of your cards received. Obviously, the higher the grade, the more value your card would have increased by. If you do not like the grade that your card received, you can opt to have the card regraded up to three times, but the wait time to get those cards back will continue to increase with each grading.

Now that you know how to grade your NBA 2K24 MyTeam cards, why not go ahead and grade a few cards to see what grades you receive. If you have a really rare and expensive card already, you may want to get it graded to really increase the value of the card. Especially if you don’t mind not using those cards until the grading period is completed.
