The ratings are actually quite reflective of the current quarterback landscape around the NFL. We’ve got Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes in a tier of their own, followed by rising stars Josh Allen and Joe Burrow. Then we’ve got the next tier of really good quarterbacks who are certainly capable of winning a championship, and in some cases, already have. But they aren’t quite at that same level.

While many of the ratings reveals have drawn debate, I actually don’t have a problem with these rankings. I’m honestly a bit surprised EA was as unforgiving with these ratings — I mean, no quarterback rated 99? This is the first time since Madden 20 that we haven’t had a quarterback in the 99 Club. And to be honest, it should be like that.
