February’s PlayStation Plus offerings are pretty killer. After Maneater, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Greedfall last month, Sony is tossing three more games our way.

February’s free PlayStation 5 game will be Destruction AllStars, a game that I’m personally very excited about. It doesn’t quite look like a game that’ll hold my attention for months, but it definitely looks entertaining for a few hours here and there.

We’ll also be getting two PS4 titles, one of which will also be playable playable on PS5 via backward compatibility. Control: Ultimate Edition and Concrete Genie are our free PS4 games for the month with Control being playable on PS5 as well.

At this point, everyone should be familiar with Control, the critically acclaimed, award-winning third-person action-adventure from Remedy Entertainment (Max Payne, Alan Wake). Control is a real mind-twist as the Federal Bureau of Control becomes breached by an ominous enemy. Supernatural abilities, a shape-shifting sidearm, and an ever-changing environment, Control will keep you on the edge of your seat. As the Ultimate Edition, you’ll also receive The Foundation and AWE expansions.

While Control was released for PS4, it will also be playable on PS5 with an added feature. The console’s Game Help feature will provide hints and walkthroughs for some of the game’s difficult puzzles and challenges.

Concrete Genie is a game that went more under the radar. Developed by Pixelopus, this PS4-exclusive is a heartwarming story about overcoming bullies and painting life into the world. In the game, you play as Ash, a young boy living in the abandoned and polluted town of Denska.

When a group of bullies steal Ash’s notebook, rip out the pages of his doodles and scatter them around the city, he must go on a quest to recover the pages. What’s really cool is he can use his paintbrush to bring his creations to life.

Concrete Genie received generally favorable reviews. It’s one of those classic PlayStation art games that’s more about the overall experience than combat and difficulty.
