The 2020-21 NBA season has officially tipped off and NBA 2K21’s rosters have been finalized. Here are the best 3-point shooters in the game at launch.

Thanks to COVID-19, the sports world schedule was thrown all out of whack. The NBA’s shortened offseason concluded and the 2020-21 season officially tipped off earlier this month — a much later start than usual. Even NBA 2K21 has been with us for a few months now, the rosters weren’t able to be finalized to reflect the most current rosters until all of the offseason stuff took place.

Now that the NBA season has started, we’ve got the official rosters for NBA 2K21. And as of December 2020, here are the players with the highest 3-Point Attribute Rating:

  1. Steph Curry (PG/SG for Golden State Warriors) – 99 3PT, 95 OVR – Offensive Threat
  2. Klay Thompson (SG/SF for Golden State Warriors) – 95 3PT, 89 OVR – 2-Way 3-Level Scorer
  3. Duncan Robinson (SG/SF for Miami Heat) – 92 3PT, 78 OVR – 3PT Specialist
  4. J.J. Redick (SG for New Orleans Pelicans) – 90 3PT, 78 OVR – Sharpshooter
  5. Damian Lillard (PG for Portland Trail Blazers) – 89 3PT, 95 OVR – Offensive Threat
  6. Seth Curry (SG/PG for Philadelphia 76ers) – 89 3PT, 78 OVR – 3-Level Scorer – Sharpshooter
  7. Matt Thomas (SG/SF for Toronto Raptors) – 89 3PT, 74 OVR – Sharpshooter
  8. Derrick Walton Jr. (PG Free Agent) – 89 3PT, 69 OVR – 3PT Specialist
  9. George Hill (PG/SG for Milwaukee Bucks) – 88 3PT, 77 OVR – Deep-Range Shot Creator
  10. Doug McDermott (SF/PF for Indianapolis Pacers) – 88 3PT, 76 OVR – 3PT Specialist
  11. Rodney Hood (SF/SG for Portland Trail Blazers) – 88 3PT, 76 OVR – Sharpshooter
  12. Jared Dudley (PF for Los Angeles Lakers) – 88 3PT, 72 OVR – Stretch Four

As expected, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson top the list. Steph is far and away the best three-point shooter in the game and it’s not hard to see why. Klay Thompson, the other half of the Splash Brothers, is the second-best-rated three-point shooter with a 95 rating. Unfortunately, he suffered a season-ending Achilles tear during a workout in November so once again we won’t be graced with his presence on the court this season.

Damian Lillard, while not as sharp as Steph Curry from beyond the arc, still boasts an impressive 89 rating along with a 95 overall. He’s an all-around scoring threat so he’s not a bad option.

If you’re looking to trade for a three-point shooter, J.J. Reddick and Duncan Robinson are both great options as they have three-point ratings in the 90s but overall ratings in the upper 70s. Both should be somewhat easy to acquire via a trade. Or you can turn to free agency where you’ll find Derrick Walton Jr. Don’t expect too much from him with his 69 overall, but he can probably knock down some threes for you.

Keeping in mind, these ratings will change as the season progresses. We’ll be sure to update the list as the season continues.
