Riot Games is celebrating the impending launch of Teamfight Tactics: Rise of the Elements with a two-day competitive event featuring 16 fan-favorite streamers.

Next month, Teamfight Tactics will undergo its first major refresh since launching in August. Rise of the Elements, the name given to Set 2 of the tactical auto-brawler, will launch with patch 9.22 on November 6. Ahead of its impending launch, Riot Games and Red Bull will be hosting a two-day competitive event giving fans a look at all the new champions and traits in action with some of the game’s biggest streamers.

The Teamfight Tactics: Rise of the Elements Invitational will take place on October 30 and 31. It will feature 16 of the community’s top streamers, including itsHafu, Scarra, Disguised Toast and more.

More from League of Legends

The event will kick off on October 30 at 9:00 a.m. PDT with two groups of eight players facing off in five matches. Players will earn points based on their finishes. In addition to their placement, they can earn additional points by completing challenges during these matches, which should create some exciting moments for fans to see more strategy and variety (as opposed to everyone just sticking to the meta). The top four point earners from each group will move on to the second day of competition.

Day 2 will begin at 9:00 a.m. PDT and will feature the top eight players competing until someone reaches three wins. That’s three first-place finishes, not the “top four” that the rest of us scrubs settle for.

The first-place winner of the Invitational will receive a $15,000 grand prize, while players who make it to Day 2 will earn $10,750 each. Heck, even just participating in the Invitational and getting eliminated in the first day will get them $7,500 each.

Next. Competitive TFT won’t start until 2020, according to Riot. dark

You can tune into the Rise of the Elements Invitational via the LoL Esports YouTube or Riot Games Twitch pages. Watch just one game live on the Esports YouTube channel will get you a free in-game mystery emote as long as your Riot account is linked to your YouTube.
