Rumored "Farewell Tour" DLC may bring Brock Lesnar back to WWE 2K25

The WWE 2K25 community had one question when Brock Lesnar returned to beat John Cena up a few more times before his retirement. When's he coming to WWE 2K? Lesnar was removed from WWE games after being named in a sexual assault lawsuit against Vince McMahon.

There's enough evidence against McMahon that he likely won't ever return to the company, meaning any future showcase modes will have to tell WWE's story without his influence. Lesnar is a huge part of the company's history as well, his rivalry with Cena being legendary.

WWE must be confident that any potential legal troubles are behind Lesnar, as he is back on its programming and thus eligible to appear in WWE 2K games. Content creator Witty Witterson has leaked some big news before, and now is reporting that Lesnar will be part of a Farewell Tour DLC alongside a couple of new versions of John Cena.

What isn't clear is whether this DLC would be part of the Season Pass or gated behind The Island like the recent Goldberg/Nikki Bella DLC. I'm on record hating this idea. But if 2K keeps doing this and getting it away with it, this is probably how they'll keep doing it. This is the same company that makes NBA 2K and its predatory MyTeam mode, which lends a new feature to WWE 2K every year, including its MyFaction mode.
