Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has been out for over two months now and Season 1 is winding down. For those who started playing in November of 2023 when the game was first released, you should have a pretty good idea of how the game works. For those who might have dove into the game right after the holidays, you may still be confused on how certain parts of the game works.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is by far one of the most complex Call of Duty video games out there. When you first load up the game for the very first time, the menu may look a bit overwhelming. However, once you learn the ins and outs on how the game actually works, it becomes a lot easier to comprehend.

How does the Armory work in Modern Warfare 3?

One of the new features that have made their way into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 this year is the Armory. The Armory can be a bit intimidating since there are a lot of unlocks and not a lot of explanation on how it works, but it is arguably one of the most important parts of the MW3 multiplayer. Some weapons and items are unlocked naturally by progressing your levels, but other items are solely unlocked via the Armory.

When going through your Create-A-Class, you may notice some items with a little green medal on them. These indicate items that are unlocked via the Armory. They way the Armory works is that you must visit the Armory and search for the item you want to unlock. Once you have found that item, you can activate it and then it is purely up to Daily Challenges to unlock them.

Each item from the Armory has a required number of Daily Challenges that need to be completed before you oficially unlock that item. For example, Semtex are an item that need to be unlocked via the Armory. Semtex require 3 Daily Challenges to be completed before they can be unlocked. This makes going for Daily Challenges crucial if you are wanting to unlock all the various items and weapons in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Unfortunately, if you are new to Modern Warfare 3, you can only access the Armory once you reach level 25 online. Until then, you have to use the weapons and items that can be unlocked just by leveling up naturally.

How many Daily Challenges do you get per day?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 offers you three random Daily Challenges for Multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies. Each Daily Challenge can only be completed once per day. However, there is a fourth Daily Challenge that can be completed an infinite number of times and that always is to just win a game online. That one never changes.

Always remember to set a Daily Challenge and work towards unlocking different gear. Otherwise you are going to be stuck with basic weapons and items because there is no other way to unlock certain items.

The Armory definitely adds a different element to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. While it kind of stinks that you have to grind so many Daily Challenges just to get certain unlocks, it makes you feel accomplished when you finally achieve your goal.

Now that you know exactly how the Armory works, you can start working towards unlocking all the weapons, killstreaks, lethals, and whatever else you want to unlock to make sure you build your perfect Class.
