Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: How to activate Tac-Stance
As you may know by now, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 features a handful of new features. One of those new features is Tac-Stance. Tac-Stance is a brand-new way you control and fire your weapons. You may have heard of this new feature, but you might not have known how to actually activate it and use it. If that is the case, it is very simple to do.
How do you use Tac-Stance in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
If you want to get into your Tac-Stance, all you have to do is aim down your sights and then press down on the D-Pad. This will allow you to turn your weapon on your side and fire it in a sideways position. If you want to turn this off or rather activate your Tac-Stance in a different way, you can head over to your controller settings and select from the available options.
You may be wondering what is the point of this new Tac-Stance feature? The new Tac-Stance is a mix of ADS and hip-fire. This can be helpful in certain situations, but most effective in close to medium range combat. You aren’t going to find much success in the long-range game while using Tac-Stance.
There are also going to be various challenges that you come across in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 that ask you to get Tac-Stance kills. You may have already come across these challenges but didn’t know what they meant. Now you do and you can continue to complete all the challenges Modern Warfare 3 has to offer.
The only other way you can enter Tac-Stance is by sliding. Every time you go to slide, you enter Tac-Stance by default. This isn’t the most efficient way to try and get kills, but you are going to rack up your fair share while sliding naturally.
Any time a developer adds a new feature in the game they put it there for a reason. The new Tac-Stance feature may not be your first choice of stance, but if used in the right situation, it can prove to be a very powerful tactic to use against the enemy team.
