We’re a little over a month away from the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 but we’ve yet to see multiplayer from this year’s game. That will change soon as Activision announced plans for “Call of Duty: Next,” a broadcast event that will reveal details on the future of the blockbuster franchise.

Among these details will be the reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer, including details about the upcoming multiplayer beta. The stream will also offer information on Modern Warfare Zombies as well as the battle royale spinoffs, Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.

Call of Duty: Next will take place on Thursday, October 5, 2023. The broadcast will begin at 9 a.m. PT. You can tune in through the official Call of Duty YouTube and Twitch channels, as well as on other social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is set to release worldwide on Friday, November 10. There will be two weekends dedicated to a multiplayer beta.

The first weekend will run exclusively on PlayStation from October 6th through October 10th. The first two days are early access for those who have pre-ordered the game, while the last two days are open for anyone on PlayStation.

The second weekend will run through October 12 through October 16. Again, there will be early access the first two days on Xbox and PC, while it will be open beta on PlayStation. The final two days will be an open beta for all platforms.

While we’ll likely learn more specific details about the beta content, we do know it will feature a variety of maps, including a selection of Core maps from the modernized 16 origianls of 2009’s Modern Warfare 2. We’ll also experience new Ground War modes and loadout options. Be sure to check back next Thursday for all the details.
