Modern Warfare 3 Beta Dates Announced: Platforms, Early Access

Activision announced the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III beta dates for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
MWIII took center stage during Gamescom Opening Night Live, hosted by Geoff Keighley, showcasing nine minutes of single player campaign action. Most fans though want to know when they can get their hands on the multiplayer beta. Look no further as Activision announced all the details you need to know.

Modern Warfare 3 Beta Dates
Weekend One: PlayStation Only
- Oct. 6-7: Early Access
- Oct. 8-10: Open Beta
Weekend Two: All Platforms (Xbox, PlayStation, PC)
- Oct. 12-13: Early Access
- Oct. 14-16: Open Beta
Modern Warfare 3 Beta Platforms
The Modern Warfare 3 beta will be available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Will The Modern Warfare 3 Beta Have Crossplay?
Yes! The second weekend will have crossplay available for all available platforms.
How to Get Modern Warfare 3 Beta Early Access
Players have to pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III to get beta early access. Players will not have to pre-order the game to access the Open Beta during the dates mentioned above.
When Does the Modern Warfare 3 Beta End?
The PlayStation only beta will end on Oct. 10 and the All Platforms beta will end on Oct. 16. Activision and developers have previously extended betas for certain Call of Duty titles, so perhaps the same happens again this year. Especially if they want some more player data on further balancing ahead of release.
When is the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer Reveal?
Activision announced that the Modern Warfare III multiplayer reveal will take place during Call of Duty: NEXT. The event will take place on Oct. 5 and include a look at MWIII, the future of Call of Duty: Warzone and Warzone Mobile.
