The Dead Space Remake is one of the most anticipated video games to be released in January 2023 and is definitely one of the most anticipated horror style games to be released in the entire 2023. It has already been confirmed that the Dead Space Remake will be released on both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X, but not a lot has been talked about on if the game would make its way to the Nintendo Switch.

The Dead Space Remake is going to be renovated for the next gen consoles and there is plenty new and exciting content coming to the game that wasn’t there originally. A new AI Director, the removal of annoying loading screens, and the addition of side missions/more exploration are only some of the few changes and new features that are coming to the remake.

One of the biggest improvements that is going to be seen with the Dead Space Remake is going to be the major improvement on graphics. The graphics improvement has been allowed to take place given how powerful the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X truly are. So, when the question is asked on is the Dead Space Remake coming to the Nintendo Switch, the answer is unfortunately no.

The Nintendo Switch is nowhere near as powerful as the PlayStation 5 or the Xbox Series X. Those two consoles are in a class of their own in terms of technology and powerfulness. While the Nintendo Switch is a popular console that is home to many fantastic games that will be released in 2023, the Dead Space Remake wouldn’t be able to function as well on the Nintendo Switch.

The graphics wouldn’t be as stellar on the Nintendo Switch and the game wouldn’t be as smooth. These are two main things that the Dead Space Remake is going to feature as part of the release. If the game was to be released on Switch, it would defeat the purpose of having a remake in the first place because all of the new features the Dead Space Remake is going to feature wouldn’t be able to run on the Nintendo Switch.

Unfortunately, the Nintendo Switch wasn’t created to run these types of massive video games. There is a reason that the Switch doesn’t feature games like Call of Duty, Elden Ring, or even Madden 23. Those games are too visually appealing and there is too much content available stored on those games that the Nintendo Switch wouldn’t be able to hold that type of content.

Another thing to think about is that if the Dead Space Remake was made for the Nintendo Switch, it would be the console with the least amount of Dead Space Remake games purchased for it. With how visually stunning this game has been from gameplay trailers, most people would want to get the full experience on a PS5 or the Xbox Series X. Since we know that Dead Space won’t be making its way onto the Nintendo Switch, we know that EA Motive can dedicate more of their time to making the Dead Space experience even greater on Sony and Microsoft’s consoles.
