Dead Space is getting another installment on January 27, 2023. However, this isn’t a brand-new installment into the franchise, but rather a Dead Space Remake that will focus on bringing back one of the most popular video games of all time back to life. While January 27 will be here before you know it, there are going to be some choices on which copy of the Dead Space Remake you would like to purchase.

Having options is always a good thing, especially when it comes to video games. Luckily, EA gives you a few options when deciding which edition of the Dead Space Remake you want to purchase. There will be a total of three editions that you can elect to purchase depending on how much money you would like to spend and the extra additions you want to receive. Your three choices are the Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and the Collector’s Edition. Each of these editions comes with its own prices and its own perks of owning them.

Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition

The Standard Edition of the Dead Space Remake is going to cost you $70. $70 is going to be the new price of video games from now on and this change is really going to start showing during 2023. Unfortunately, you aren’t going to get any added benefits from the Standard Edition except the game itself, but that is fine. From the early looks of it, the Dead Space Remake is going to be worth every penny of the $70.

Your other reasonably priced option would be the Digital Deluxe Edition. The Digital Deluxe Edition of the Dead Space Remake costs an additional $10 at $80. If cosmetics and customization are something that you are really interested in, this edition might be perfect for you. For an extra $10 you get 3 unique suits and 2 texture suits. With no microtransactions that are going to take place in the Dead Space Remake, this is a great opportunity to get a few extra costumes for Isaac and begin Dead Space in a fancy fashion.

Collector’s Edition

If you consider yourself to be a Dead Space fan bigger than anyone else out there and you just can’t get enough of the Dead Space Universe, the Collector’s Edition could be the edition that you are looking to purchase. This is going to cost you quite a bit of money, but if you are willing to fork out $275, you are in for a lot of nice treats.

Besides the Dead Space Remake game, you are also going to get a CD Soundtrack, Lithograph print, Foil Stamped Lithograph Folio, Official SteelBook Case, Marker Enamel Pin, Metal Marker Statue, Ishimura Patch, 4 mini posters, and an amazing full-sized wearable helmet with working lights. That is a lot of content featured in the Collector’s Edition, but the massive price tag surely has to be because of the wearable helmet with working lights. Even if you don’t plan on wearing the helmet, it can definitely be a nice display piece.

Ranging from $70 to $250, those are your three options to choose from. I know how beloved the Dead Space franchise is and there are plenty of gamers out there who are still deciding between which edition to choose. While you still have a little under a month to make the decision, that time is going to fly by and be here before you know it. So, which Dead Space Remake Edition do you plan on ringing in 2023 with?
