Each year, The Game Awards act as the Season Finale of the video game season. The Game Awards 2022 was the 9th annual Game Awards. During the 3+ hour long Award show, there were more than 30 Awards that were given out. Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarok were the two biggest titans heading into the show and many wondered which of the two would be crowned the 2022 Game of the Year. The honor this year goes to the well-deserved Elden Ring developed by FromSoftware.

While Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarok got their more than fair share in the spotlight, many other games got the recognition that they deserved by taking home some of the other awards given out at The Game Awards 2022.
