Free PS Plus games for September 2021: Hitman 2, Predator: Hunting Grounds and more
September is here and with a new month comes a new lineup of free video games for those who are PlayStation Plus subscribers. This month, PS Plus users will be given three games: Hitman 2, Overcooked: All You Can Eat, and Predator: Hunting Grounds. Unfortunately, if you do not own a PS5 yet then you will only be able to get Hitman 2 and Predator: Hunting Grounds as Overcooked: All You Can Eat will be a PlayStation Plus exclusive on PS5.
Hitman 2 and Predator: Hunting Grounds will be available for PS4, and are both also playable on PS5 as well.
Hitman 2 puts you in the shoes of Agent 47, an assassin who travels the globe to take down targets. With a goal to eliminate the elusive Shadow Client, the story of Hitman 2 offers surprising twists while the gameplay introduces new ways to play, new game modes and more. It’s also the first game in the series with the Sniper Assassin co-op mode. Hitman 2 is a perfect segway to Hitman 3, which was released earlier this year to critical acclaim.

Predator: Hunting Grounds is an asymmetrical multiplayer shooter that pits humans against the one and only Predator. This game didn’t get the best reviews, as it failed to live up to its potential. Nonetheless, you are able to download it with your September PlayStation Plus subscription.
Finally, PlayStation 5 users will get Overcooked: All You Can Eat. Included in the Overcooked: All You Can Eat edition are remastered versions of all the content from Overcooked and Overcooked 2, as well as every piece of DLC.
If you aren’t familiar with Overcooked, the game allows you to play solo or with a group of your friends as you venture through the kitchen and cook some exquisite meals. This game is surely going to give you tons of laughs and enjoyment if you decide to play it with a group of your buddies. It is definitely worth checking out if you are looking for something new to play.

After taking a look at all three games for the September PlayStation Plus lineup, it appears to be a tad mediocre. These three games probably aren’t anyone’s first choice, but they are here to try out for free. These games are available to download beginning on September 7. You are still able to download August’s PlayStation Plus games until September 6.
