Earlier this week, the PlayStation website prematurely revealed August’s free PS Plus games. But it wasn’t officially confirmed until today. Next month, PlayStation Plus members will be getting Hunter’s Arena: Legends, Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville and Tennis World Tour 2 for free.

Hunter’s Arena: Legends is probably the game I’m most excited for. It’s actually a new game, makings its debut through PlayStation Plus on PS4 and PS5. It’s a 30-player battle royale game that blends PvP and PvE combat. Although you’re ultimately battling to be the last person standing, you’ll also want to team up with your competition to help take down some of the more demonic NPC enemies that have a chance to drop powerful items (that you’ll have to also fight for). Unlike most battle royale games, which are nearly always shooters, Hunter’s Arena: Legends has a fantasy-aspect to its combat which is a refreshing take.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is the latest installment in the shooter spinoff series of the Plants vs. Zombies franchise. It expands upon the previous games with new social and free-roam regions, 20 customizable character classes and more. Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville will be free for PS4, although you can also play it on PS5.

The third free game for August is Tennis World Tour 2. It’s been a long time since I’ve played a tennis game but my renewed interested in the sport has got me excited for this game — especially with the US Open starting in late August. In Tennis World Tour 2 you can play as the world’s top players or create your own for Career Mode where you’ll manage the season, your staff, your equipment and sponsors. There’s also standard singles and doubles matches you can play locally or online.

All three of these games will be available for PS Plus members starting on Tuesday, August 3 and will be free to claim until Monday, September 6. In the meantime, you have until Monday, August 2 to download July’s PlayStation Plus games.
