League of Legends Arcade 2019 start date and Demacia Vice skins revealed
The League of Legends Arcade 2019: ULTRACOMBO event will see the debut of two brand new Demacia Vice skins for Lucian and Garen, plus more.
The Arcade 2019: ULTRACOMBO in-game event in League of Legends is set to kick off on Friday, June 28. The month-long event will feature brand new skins, exclusive loot and rewards, and more – all thematically inspired by a retro arcade game.
Arcade 2019 will introduce six new, and pretty awesome, champion skins for 1350RP each. Battle Boss Qiyana, Arcade Kai’Sai, Battle Boss Yasuo and Arcade Caitlyn all look they’ve been pulled straight from a classic arcade game.
But the two skins that steal the spotlight are undoubtedly the new Demacia Vice Garen and Demacia Vice Lucian. Donning sleek glasses and a very stylish wardrobe, Garen and Lucian look like they just rolled out of neo-noir setting and into Summoner’s Rift. It looks like an 80’s sci-fi action movie’s take on what the future was envisioned to be, and I love everything about it.
Also available will be the Arcade 2019 Pass which includes the following:
- Arcade Star Icon
- Four Arcade Orbs
- 200 Arcade Tokens
- Additional tokens for every First Win of the Day and most matchmade PvP games
Winning or losing a matchmade PvP SR or PvP ARAM match will reward you with tokens that can be used towards the purchase of exclusive loot rewards, including the Arcade Caitlyn Prestige Edition and event chromas for Arcade skins. Additionally, the Arcade 2019 Pass unlocks milestone missions that award up to 25 Prestige Points for hitting various milestones. Completing all missions without the pass will reward you with 300 Arcade Tokens.
So what can these Arcade Tokens get you?
The grand prize, for a whopping 2,000 Tokens, is Arcade Caitlyn Prestige Edition. It’s basically a fancier, sleeker version of her Arcade skin, and it’s definitely awesome. But it’s also going to take a ton of work to grind for it. However, there are all sorts of other rewards and exclusive loot available anywhere from 50 Tokens to 300 Tokens.

Exclusive Chroma and Icon for various Arcade and Battle Boss K.O. will be available for 300 Tokens each, while Borders and Icons for the four newest skins are available for 250 Tokens each. Other extras, like the GAME OVER emote (75 Tokens) range in cost from 50 Tokens to 200 Tokens.
Also available for 250RP is the Arcade Orb plus 16 Arcade Tokens. Each Arcade Orb includes one random Skin Shard and a Bonus Roll. There are bundles of 10 Arcade Orbs (plus 1 bonus Orb) and 160 Tokens for 2500RP or 25 Arcade Orbs (plus 1 Arcade Jackpot) and 400 Tokens for 6250RP.
The League of Legends Arcade 2019: ULTRACOMBO runs from June 28 through July 2019. The event shop will be open until August 14.
