Fortnite’s next big event is quickly approaching, and Epic has finally shared the details.

The new event is titled “The Big Bang,” and will take place on Saturday, December 2 at 11:00 a.m. PT / 2:00 p.m. ET.

“This event marks a new beginning for Fortnite,” the developer teases.

In addition to the memorable reveal, the event will also feature an appearance from Eminem. The latest pop culture collaboration will see three new Eminem-inspired Outfits in the Item Shop: Rap Boy, Slim Shady and Marshall Never More. The items will be available starting Wednesday, November 29 at 7:00 p.m. ET.

“Watch Eminem… as Eminem,” Epic writes, suggesting fans who join the event will be able to experience some sort of performance by the Rap God.

You’ll be able to join The Big Bang event 30 minutes prior to its 2:00 p.m. ET start time. You’ll find a specific tile dedicated to the event, which will support parties of up to four players.

If you aren’t going to be near an actual gaming device (ie. PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch or PC) during the event, you’ll still be able to take part thanks to Xbox Cloud Gaming, NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Amazon Luna services, which will let you play  via cloud streaming on your computer or mobile device.

The Big Bang event comes after a month-long season in which Epic Games revisited some of Fortnite’s most memorable moments from Chapter 1. Over the last month, Epic Games released weekly updates, introducing items from Chapter 1’s various seasons, letting gamers experience the battle royale game as it used to exist back in the day.

The Big Bang promises to “evolve all things as you know them.” Exactly what Epic means by that is a bit unclear, but new seasons always bring a ton of excitement to the game. As always, we’ll let you know what’s coming to Fortnite when we learn more!
