The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 release is right around the corner and will available worldwide on October 25, 2024. Soon fans will once again be able to dive into the Black Ops franchise and see what Call of Duty has planned for this year's installment. Before we can get to the global release date, we got to first get through the Open Beta.

Each year gamers look forward to the Call of Duty Open Beta. It is the first chance that the public really gets to get their hands on the game and give it a try for themselves. This is also a great opportunity for gamers to give feedback to the developers to see if there are any last minute in-game buffs or nerfs that need to be made before the game's official launch.

This year, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Early Access Beta will run from August 30 - September 4. After the Early Access is over, anyone on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC will be able to join in on the fun from September 6 - September 9.

How to gain Early Access to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Open Beta?

If you want to get on the battlefield a starting on August 30 and get extra playing time for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, you may be wondering how to actually do that?

There are quite a few ways that you can be granted Early Access to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. One of the easiest ways is to make sure that you already have Black Ops 6 pre-ordered. It doesn't matter if you ordered it physically or digitally. As long as you have it pre-ordered some sort of way, you will have Early Access to the Beta.

If you pre-ordered Black Ops 6 physically, there should be a code at the bottom of your pre-order receipt that will grant you Beta access. If you went the digital route, there will be no code required and you should already have access on August 30 on the platform that you pre-ordered the game on.

Access via an Xbox Game Pass subscription

If you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, it doesn't matter if you have pre-ordered the game or not. Xbox Game Pass subscribers automatically get to be a part of the Early Access as one of the many Game Pass Perks. This is also due to the fact that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be coming to the service on the first day of the worldwide release on October 25. This means that if you are a subscriber, you already "own" Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 at this point and it will be playable on October 25.

Xfinity Reward Members also get Early Access

If you are a Xfinity Rewards Member, you can get a code for free as part of their Rewards Program. All you have to do is login to your Xfinity account via their app of the official Xfinity Rewards website and head to the rewards page and there should be a Black Ops 6 Beta Code waiting for you as a thank you for being a loyal member.

Once you have the code from Xfinity, you can go ahead and go to Call of Duty's official website and put the code into there. Then you will be all set and ready to go come August 30.

With all of the different ways to get Early Access to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Open Beta, there is surely an option for everyone. This is a great opportunity to squeak out nearly an extra week of playing time so that you know what is in store come October 25. If Early Access does not appear to be in the cards, there is no need to worry. The Black Ops 6 Open Beta will be open to all players from September 6 - September 9.
