We are now onto Season 2 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and there have been tons of new weapons, maps, and features added into the game this season. You may have noticed some new skins, new weapons, and maybe even some new attachments added into the game this season. If you noticed some people running around with a chainsaw attachment on the end of their gun and was wondering how they got it, you came to the right place.

How to unlock the JAK Limb Ripper Aftermarket Part in Modern Warfare 3

The chainsaw that you see players have at the end of their weapon is called the JAK Limb Ripper. A very fitting name for an Aftermarket Part that does just what the name suggests. It is a very unique Aftermarket Part, and it is understandable as to why so many gamers want to try it out for themselves.

The Aftermarket Parts are a new feature that Sledgehammer decided to add into the game this year, which is why you might be confused as to how to unlock it. Luckily, if you are looking to unlock the JAK Limb Ripper, it is very easy to unlock.

Every week through the course of the entire season, Call of Duty will have weekly challenges for you to complete. These weekly challenges stay there for the entire season, but once the season is over, those challenges will be gone permanently. The best part is, if you miss some Weekly challenges during the course of the season, you can go back and complete them throughout the season at any time.

The JAK Limb Ripper is an Aftermarket Part that is unlocked via completing Weekly Challenges from Week 2. All you need to do is complete any five challenges from the Weekly challenges. There are always three categories of Weekly challenges that you can complete. There are seven Multiplayer, seven Warzone, and seven zombie Weekly challenges for a grand total of 21 various Week 2 challenges. It doesn't matter which 5 you complete, but you only need to complete 5 of the entire 21.

These challenges aren't too hard to complete either. Most of them require you to change up your weapon or class a little bit, but there is nothing too out of the ordinary. There is one Weekly challenge this week that asks you to "Get 30 Operator Kills with alternate ammo equipped to a Recommended Weapon." Depending on what attachments you have on your current loadout, this one may come naturally if you already use an alternate ammo on your loadout.

Once you have completed your 5 Weekly challenges, you can begin using the chainsaw attachment that you have been seeing others use. It definitely is a fun Aftermarket Part to use, and it is something new for you to try so that you aren't stuck using the same attachments and weapons over and over again.
