Any Call of Duty announcements make shockwaves in the Call of Duty community, especially when a new Call of Duty game is announced. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been confirmed and now other announcements regarding Black Ops 6 are slowly being released.

Arguably one of the biggest announcements to come from Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 so far is the news regarding the Prestige System. A majority of gamers purchase Call of Duty simply for the multiplayer and prestiging is the biggest part of Call of Duty multiplayer. The Call of Duty community has been buzzing because they have announced that the Classic Prestige System will make its return for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is briging back the Classic Prestige System

The Call of Duty of duty community has been extremely vocal over the years about the way Call of Duty has handled their Prestige System. Every Call of Duty video game has tried to take their approach on a more updated way of Prestiging, but nothing has compared to the Classic Prestige System used early on in the Call of Duty franchise. Treyarch has listened and the Classic Prestige System will be making a return in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will feature ten Prestiges. Once a player gets to the max level, they will have the choice on if they want to enter Prestige, or just hang out at the max level. If you choose to enter Prestige, you will earn your newest Prestige Rank and be sent back to level one where you have to level up and unlock all your rewards once again.

Once you have reached tenth Prestige max level, you will graduate into what is called "Prestige Master." This means you will have 1,000 more levels to reach beyond tenth Prestige where there is a classified reward waiting for those who get to the end.

The Classic Prestige System is something that the die hard Call of Duty gamers have been wanting for a very long time. The Call of Duty reviews over the past handful of years have been very mixed and a lot of that is because the multiplayer isn't what the community was expecting it to be. The Classic Prestige System is going to be a great addition to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and the full Classic Prestige System will be available upon launch on October 25.
