Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 announced: When and where to watch the reveal

This week, Activision officially announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the next installment in the blockbuster shooter franchise.

The announcement was accompanied by the launch of a viral website, TheTruthLies.com. Upon visiting the website, you'll see an interactive television containing various teasers.

Channel 01, "LYER," serves as a channel guide that lists the various videos. On Channel 2 we've got "Tear Down the Lies," while Channel 3 is "The Truth Cometh." These found footage videos show a mysterious group performing various acts of rebellion, such as hanging blindfolds on the faces of Mount Rushmore that reads "The Truth Lies."

At this point, it's unclear what these teasers mean. Specific plot details for the upcoming Black Ops 6 game haven't been revelaed yet, but more information is coming soon.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 reveal coming next month

Activision confirmed that Black Ops 6 will be fully revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday, June 9th at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET. The showcase will be followed by the Black Ops 6 Direct, a dedicated stream that will provide an in-depth look at all-new gameplay and product announcements.

Fans can tune into the Xbox Games Showcase for the reveal of Black Ops 6 on Sunday through a variety of social media and video channels. The most obvious is Xbox on Twitch, YouTube, and even Facebook.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is rumored to release on October 25 with reports that claim it will be a launch day title on Game Pass. We'll likely get confirmation or official clarity on these rumors on June 9th.

In addition to Call of Duty, the Xbox Games Showcase will provide more details and information on other upcoming Xbox titles such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Avowed, Ara: History Untold, Towerborne and the newly rumored DOOM: The Dark Ages.
