Clash of Clans: Hammer Jam returns ahead of Town Hall 16

Clash of Clans’ December 2023 update is right around the corner and with it will come Town Hall 16. You know what that means — the return of Hammer Jam!

Starting tomorrow, November 27, all Home Village building and upgrade costs will be reduced by 50 percent. This limited-time event is the perfect time to focus on upgrading some of the more expensive buildings and upgrades you have, although it’s important to note that with a new Town Hall coming, some costs of older buildings will likely be reduced.

One popular strategy during Hammer Jam is upgrading walls because we all know how expensive that can get.

Supercell announced the arrival of Hammer Jam with a musical animated video. Naturally, players have taken it upon themselves to scour the video for any sort of hints or teasers for what could be coming in the December update and Town Hall 16. Check it out below:

The most intriguing moment of hte video comes at around the :24-second mark when we see two Archer Towers combine into one. This has led to speculation that Town Hall 16 may allow you to combine defensive structures into one.

This idea has been floated by the CoC community in the past, but the fact that it may actually happen is very intriguing as it could finally solve the 100-building limit that currently exists.

I doubt you’ll be able to combine every Archer Tower or defensive building, but there’s speculation that if you hit Town Hall 16, you’ll be able to merge your max-leveled defensive structures into some sort of megastructure. This could make room for some additional buildings.

With Hammer Jam starting tomorrow, it’s possible we could start to see Supercell release sneak peeks for the upcoming December update. In addition to Town Hal 16, Supercell also released a teaser video that hints at the arrival of a new Hero Pet. We’ll hopefully get confirmation on all of this exciting new stuff soon!
