Assassin’s Creed Mirage: How to reduce Notoriety
It is always interesting to see what new features Ubisoft adds into the newest Assassin’s Creed games. The newest feature in Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the Notoriety system. The Notoriety system is broken up into three tiers. Your Notoriety will increase if you are caught assassinating others in public or stealing in public. Basically, anything you are found doing that is frowned upon or illegal by the general public will increase your Notoriety.
Every way to reduce your Notoriety in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
If you think you can play a clean game where your Notoriety will never increase, you are sadly mistaken. In a game where assassinating and stealing is one of the key features, you are going to have your Notoriety Meter increasing more often than you might think. Luckily, there are plenty of ways for you decrease your Notoriety, so you aren’t always looked at as public enemy number one.
If you have fallen into the first tier of the Notoriety system, you don’t have a ton to worry about. Civilian will begin to notice who you are, and this is more of a “warning” stage. You will be more recognized by civilians in public. You may also see Wanted Posters hanging up around the streets. These Wanted Posters can be removed. If you remove them, it will lower your Notoriety.
This can take quite a bit of time for searching and traveling to rip down the posters. If your Notoriety Meter is full, this may not be the best option. If your meter is fairly low, removing a couple posters should do the trick. The Wanted Posters will glow gold on the side of building and a poster icon will be displayed on the map and the top bar on your screen. They shouldn’t be too hard to find.
The second way you can reduce your Notoriety is to provide a Munadi with a Power Token. This isn’t always an option because you must first make sure that you have a Power Token in order to use this option. However, if you have a Power Token and are willing to use one, you can visit a Munadi and ask for your Notoriety to be reduced.
The final option is to kill the very hard Shakiriyya. This beast will only spawn if you are maxed out in Notoriety. If this is the case, the Shakiriyya will pursue you and try to kill you. However, if you kill the Shakiriyya, it will remove your Notoriety. It is best to try and avoid getting your Notoriety this high, because at this point it becomes a huge inconvenience.
If you have yet to reach the first Notoriety tier, you can also hide, and your Notoriety will decrease little by little. This is only the case if you haven’t reached the first Notoriety tier yet.
All in all, there are plenty of ways that you can decrease your Notoriety. While there are plenty of ways to decrease your Notoriety, I highly suggest you don’t let it get out of hand and maxed out too often. At max Notoriety you will always have people chasing after you and trying to find you and hunt you down. Don’t make Assassin’s Creed Mirage any harder than it has to be.
