Madden 24 was officially revealed this week. With the reveal, EA launched the Closed Beta.

The Closed Beta is currently available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, and gives players a chance to play Madden 24 ahead of its launch in August. Available game modes for the beta include Play Now, H2H Ranked, Franchise Mode and Practice Mode, with plans to later add Superstar: The League, Superstar: Showdown and Madden Ultimate Team. If you’re interested in participating in the beta, here’s how.

How to get into the Madden 24 Closed Beta

Unfortunately, sign-ups for the Madden 24 Closed Beta opened in April but have since ended. If you did previously sign up but haven’t received a code yet, there’s still a chance you might get one. EA says codes are being sent out in waves during the closed beta, so be sure to keep checking your email.

If you missed the sign-ups for the closed beta, you can still get a code, but it might require a bit of luck. The official Madden channel on Twitter will be sending out extra codes to participate, as are participating influencers. So be sure to follow anyone and everyone in the Madden community for a chance to get a free code.

Beta codes are also being provided to people who were impacted by the Franchise save issue in Madden 23. Be sure to check the email associated with your EA Account that matches what your primary email address is.

Although Madden 24 is currently available for pre-order, purchasing the game early does not provide you with a beta code. Instead, if you purchase the Digital Deluxe version for $99.99, you’ll get three days early access, so you can start playing on August 15 instead of its official launch day on August 18. It doesn’t appear that EA Play members get any beta access either.

It’s worth noting that the closed beta does not allow for any recording, streaming or capturing of content, so we likely won’t see any official footage posted. It’s possible some could leak gameplay, but they run the risk of a potential ban. If you do get into the Madden 24 beta, none of the progress you make will carry over into the launch in August.
