Leroy “Satchel” Paige is one of eight Negro Leagues players highlighted in the new Storylines mode in MLB The Show 23.
Storylines has been a highlight addition to this year’s MLB The Show release with fans praising Sony San Diego Studios for the mode. Not only do players get to experience these awesome stories of, as described in game, “baseball’s forgotten stars,” players also get to use these players in Diamond Dynasty. Satchel Paige has a 90 rated Diamond Dynasty card that players can earn by completing his Storyline Moments.
How to Get Satchel Paige in MLB The Show 23 Diamond Dynasty
Players have to complete nine Storyline Moments. Those missions, unlocked as each are completed, are as follows:
- Strike Out 4 Batters
- Pitch 2 Innings, Do Not Give Up 1 Run
- Strike Out 1 Batter
- Pitch 1 Inning, Do Not Give Up 1 Run
- Pitch 1 Inning, Do Not Walk 1 Batter, Do Not Give Up 1 Run
- Pitch 1 Inning, Strike Out 3 Batters, Do Not Give Up 1 Hit, Do Not Walk 1 Batter, Do Not Hit 1 Batter
- Pitch 1 Inning, Do Not Give Up 1 Run
- Pitch 2 Innings, Do Not Give Up 1 Run
- Strike Out 1 Batter, Pitch 3 Innings, Do Not Give Up 2 Hits
After completing the Storyline Outro, players will get Satchel Paige, Negro Leagues customization packs for Stadiums, Bat Skins, Icons, two Kansas City Monarchs jerseys, Experience and Stubs. Paige is sought after considering he has Outlier on his Fastball and a nice five pitch mix.
