Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC: Part 2 release date announced

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet revealed an upcoming DLC package with a 2023 release date. Labeled as The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, the DLC will be split into two parts and feature new exciting Pokemon. From exploring new lands to pairing up with different academies, here’s everything you need to know about the release date of part 2.

When Is Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Part 2 of the DLC Coming Out?

While both parts of the DLC don’t have a specific release date yet, Pokemon fans can expect the first content to be released in fall 2023 and the second content will be available in winter 2023. With these close time markers, trainers won’t have to wait too long to experience the second part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.

The second part of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s DLC will feature a narrative that is called The Indigo Disk. Players will be able to become exchange students at the Blueberry Academy. The special features of part 2 include battling foes and peers in Blueberry Academy’s underwater stadium.

The DLC contents will also contain Pokemon from previous generations that were not featured in the original release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Fans can expect to be reacquainted with Pokemon such as Milotic, Ninetails, and Zebstrika.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s DLC contents cost $34.99 and can be pre-ordered on the Nintendo Store.

There’s also a thrilling reward in buying the DLC, as the game will reveal a Hisuian Zorark with a unique move. Fans, however, should buy the contents before Oct. 31 in order to receive a code for the prize.

The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will also let players gain more customizable outfits which are tailored to the new environments in the DLC.
