Pokemon Scarlet and Violet announced an upcoming DLC release for 2023. Trainers can look forward to experiencing The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero as the game’s first downloadable content. The DLC is divided into two different bundles and will allow Pokemon fans to travel into new areas of the Paldea area, creating new missions and chances to capture unique Pokemon. Here’s everything you need to know about the first part of its official release date.
When Is Part 1 of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s DLC Available?
Currently, there’s not a specific release date for the first part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, but fans can expect the content to be released in fall 2023. Labelled as The Teal Mask, the first part of the DBLC will have trainers explore a new area while travelling on a school trip. Players can explore the land of Kitakami with students from a new academy.
Pokemon trainers can also look forward to catching exciting new Pokemon while playing The Teal Mask. The first part of the DLC will contain new Pokemon such as Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s part 2 of the DLC will feature the Indigo Disk as a new narrative, which will arrive in winter 2023. The second part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will have players becoming exchange students and attending the Blueberry Academy.
Along with these thrilling new discoveries, both parts of the DLC will feature Pokemon from previous generations which were not initially included in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The DLC will also let players catch a Hisuian Zorark that can unleash a special move.
The DLC will also include new customizable clothing items, expanding the uniform choices in the game.
The two parts of the DLC are available to pre-order on the Nintendo Store, and both contents cost $34.99. Players can start the first part of The Teal Mask after engaging in the treasure-searching missions of the game.
