Fans eager for their first look at Call of Duty: Vanguard, the latest installment in Activision’s blockbuster franchise, will want to keep an eye on August 19. That’s the date that’s believed to be when the game will be revealed.

While recent rumors and leaks pointed towards a reveal this week, an advertisement on the PlayStation Store has seemingly confirmed it while also sharing the exact time. According to the advert, Call of Duty: Vanguard will be revealed via Warzone (Activision’s battle royale game) at 10:30am PT/1:30pm ET/6:30pm BST.

Usually new Call of Duty games are revealed with some sort of cinematic trailer on YouTube, but it seems Activision is keen on getting more players in Warzone, and this is a great way to do it. In fact, Warzone had begun to tease the new game with winning players starting to get killed off by a mysterious character at the end of the match.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is being developed by Sledgehammer Games. Over the past several days, various promotional material have leaked, providing details on multiple editions of the game, plans for beta and more. Vanguard will feature a campaign, robust multiplayer and Zombies modes.

We’ve learned that the game will be set during World War II, with reports that it’ll focus on the European and Pacific theatres with a plot that follows the “birth of modern allied Special Forces.” The Verdansk map for Warzone will also be updated to resemble the Pacific theatre.

None of this has been officially confirmed by Activision, although it has seemingly been acknowledged based on a series of Tweets following the leaks. We’re still awaiting for the official reveal announcement for Call of Duty: Vanguard, but it seems that an August 19 reveal date is pretty much guaranteed at this point.
