EA launches first ever Madden NFL album with Interscope Records

For years, the soundtrack to EA’s Madden NFL games have been a time for various artists to shine and for the fans to discover new music. With my car radio now dominated by daughter’s Disney playlist, Madden is now one of the primary ways I can keep up with the latest bangers.

Suffice to say, I’m not at all familiar with any of the artists or songs featured on the Madden NFL 22 Soundtrack. The album, which is available on all major streaming platforms, features 11 exclusive songs that were made specifically for the game.

The tracks come from “the most prominent and fastest rising artists in hip-hop” — Jack Harlow, Swae Lee, Tierra Whack, Moneybagg Yo, BRS Kash and more. Actually Jack Harlow is the one name I do recognize but only because I just recently watched Lil Nas X’s “Industry Baby.”

Although the Madden NFL 22 soundtrack features  more than 65 total songs — the most music featured in a Madden game in franchise history — the Madden 22 Soundtrack album has the following 11 songs:

  • Belly & Shenseea “How I’m Feelin”
  • Morray “Mime”
  • Swae Lee ft. Jack Harlow “Ball Is Life”
  • Moneybagg Yo ft. Tripstar “Blitz”
  • Tierra Whack “8”
  • YSB Tril “Count Me In”
  • BRS Kash “Oh No (Madden Version)”
  • 42 Dugg “Down Ready Set”
  • JID “Ambassel”
  • Tank and The Bangas “Back In A Minute”
  • Sally Sossa “Number One”

Again, I’m not even going to pretend I know any of these. But I’m sure they are, what the kids would call, fire. EA actually worked with Interscope Records and their artists to create each of these custom songs from scratch. Each of the artists were chosen based on their love for football and Madden.

Madden 22, the game, will have even more music with 50 additional tracks in the newest mode, The Yard. Music from Killer Mike, Leikeli47 and Coi Leray along with current hits from Drake, J.Cole featuring Lil Baby and 24kGoldn are also featured. And then there are some newcomers such as Kuttem Reese and Kidd Ken.

The complete Madden NFL 22 Soundtrack can be listened to across all the various outlets, including Amazon, Apple Music, Spotify, Soundcloud, Pandora, iTunes, YouTube Music and more. Madden 20 launches on August 20, although if you are an EA Play member, you can get early access.
