PS Plus games for August 2021 revealed prematurely on PlayStation website
We already know Hunter’s Arena will be part of August’s PlayStation Plus lineup but now it seems the PlayStation website has prematurely revealed the remaining games coming for free next month. While Sony hasn’t officially made the announcement, the websites mentions Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville and Tennis World Tour 2 as also part of the PS Plus lineup for August.
Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is a wacky third-person shooter developed by PopCap for EA that released in September 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. It’s part of the Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare series, a spinoff of the classic tower defense games originally developed and published by PopCap.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville received generally favorable reviews upon release, building upon the foundation of the Garden Warfare games and expanding it beyond just competitive gameplay. But it’s been a few years since the game’s release so I’m not quite sure how active the community remains. Perhaps a release on PS Plus could reignite the games.
The second free PS Plus game coming next month is Tennis World Tour 2. While it received average reviews from critics, the game was a hit with fans. With tennis in full swing at the Olympics and the 2021 US Open beginning in August, this is the perfect time to unleash Tennis World Tour 2 to the masses.
It’s been a long time since I’ve played a tennis game, but I am a fan of the sport. I look forward to diving back into the video game world of it.
The third game part of August’s PS Plus lineup is Hunter’s Arena, a fantasy battle royale game with some unique twists on the genre. We have known this game would be a part of the PlayStation Plus lineup for a while now and it’s certainly an intriguing title.
