Pokémon GO: Everything you need to know for The Bravest Bird
By Andrew Lin
Pokémon GO’s The Bravest Bird is the Special ticketed Research for March’s Community Day Fletchling. Tickets for the Fletchling themed story Research are now available in the shop. Here’s everything you need to know about The Bravest Bird tickets for Community Day Fletchling.
What is The Bravest Bird in Pokémon GO
Community Day Fletchling kicks off (takes flight?) March 6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time. This event is all about Fletchling, and is notable for being the first Community Day event to feature a Pokémon from Kalos.
The Bravest Bird is the ticketed research for the event. It costs just $1 (or the equivalent in your local currency), and is up for purchase now. Just head to the in-game store to buy your ticket. Weirdly enough, this Community Day Special Research won’t include a medal.
You don’t need to buy a ticket to participate in Community Day; you just need a ticket for the Research story.
In addition to The Bravest Bird tickets, you can also get a one-time Community Day bundle for 1,280 Coins that comes with 50 Ultra Balls, 5 Lucky Eggs, a Poffin and the extremely coveted Elite Fast TM.

Since this is all about Fletchling, we can expect the research story to give you lots of encounters with Fletchling and candy to power it up. It’s Community Day, so you’ll also run into a Shiny Fletchling or two. Between Shiny hunting and the research story, you’re sure to get quite a few Fletchlings under your belt. With that many, why not take advantage of the event and evolve one into Talonflame?
Fletchling first evolves into Fletchinder, and then finally into Talonflame. Any Talonflame evolved up to two hours after the event concludes will learn the event exclusive move Incinerate.
If you’re not going to buy into Community Day festivities, there are still lots to do. During the event, you’ll get triple catch XP and triple Incense duration. Go out and grab some Fletchlings to add a great Fire Pokémon to your team.
