Atlanta FaZe to kick off second season of Call of Duty League with a bang
Their lifetime has been short in terms of gaming; however, the Atlanta FaZe’s second season begins with them being the runner-up champions to the Dallas Empire. Valentine’s Day has an epic battle with OpTic Chicago and they’re competing in their new streaming facility in west midtown as well.
The opening weekend of Stage I in the 2021 Call of Duty League season starts Feb. 11-14. The season kicks off with a head-to-head match against the Los Angeles Guerrillas on Feb. 12 and closes the weekend competing opposite the high-powered OpTic Chicago on Feb. 14.
Atlanta FaZe created a one-of-a-kind, team-branded ammo crate that is jam-packed with items inspired by Call of Duty : Black Ops Cold War.
The crate designed for fan giveaways and VIPs includes an Atlanta FaZe-branded gas mask, ski mask and flask, along with an Atlanta FaZe dad hat, exclusive shirt, invisible ink message with backlight, tactical vest with Atlanta FaZe patch and ghillie suit.
The first crate comes out as a prize after Hannah “NoisyButters” Bryan revealed the new Atlanta FaZe facility during a Twitch stream. Winners will be announced at random on Feb. 10 at 4 p.m. EST via Twitter.
“The custom ammo crate is completely sick and shows our commitment to our fans that we see you and we plan to do everything we can to take the title in 2021,” said Chris “Simp” Lehr. “The League is stacked this year, but we are going to give it our all. FaZe Up!!!”
Merchandise for Atlanta FaZe is also available starting Tuesday at 3 p.m. where fans can purchase a 2021 Atlanta FaZe official jersey and hoodie.

Call of Duty League tournaments is back as high stakes Majors that will feature all 12 teams from the Call of Duty League battling in double-elimination competition. Tournament seeding will be determined by head-to-head group play matches over the course of three Home Series weeks leading up to each Major.
The regular season will include five stages, each culminating in a Major tournament. During each stage, all teams will compete in five group play matches to determine their seed in each Major. Just like last season’s CDL, teams will earn CDL points for each match throughout the season.
Additional points will be distributed to teams based on performance at Majors. CDL points will mean a lot as teams fight for a spot in the 2021 season standings and a shot at becoming one of eight teams to qualify for the 2021 Call of Duty League Playoffs.
