Xbox Game Pass has been super successful ever since its release. Now with the possible addition of Ubisoft+, it should only get even better.

The Xbox Game Pass is arguably one of the most successful creations that Microsoft has granted Xbox users. For $9.99 a month for the standard Xbox Game Pass or $14.99 for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate you can get hundreds of games that you can play at your own free will. That is right, there is no catch there. The Xbox Game Pass almost acts like a Netflix, but for video games instead of movies and TV shows.

The Xbox Game Pass has captivated gamers across each of their platforms as you truly get your money’s worth for only $9.99. If you want to also play certain video games on a PC platform and on the Console then the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate would be what you would probably be looking for at $14.99 a month. Still, you are getting the play all these games for a ridiculously low price.

There have been rumors circulating around the internet that Ubisoft+ might be making its way to the Xbox Game Pass. If these rumors are true, this would be a huge pull for Microsoft and the Game Pass.

Ubisoft+ is another subscription service that allows you to pay $14.99 a month to play hundreds of games, but they are the only games that Ubisoft has created. This was a great move by Ubisoft to create Ubisoft+ because it allows gamers to subscribe and play games that Ubisoft created and not all Ubisoft games are available on the Xbox Game Pass. There are even occasions where games are playable on the subscription services as soon as the game is released. It seems like everything nowadays is moving towards being a subscription service.

The rumors, as of now, seem like this is going to happen and Ubisoft+ is going to eventually merge with the Xbox Game Pass in late 2021. EA Play which is a EA Subscription service happened to join in with the Xbox Game Pass as well and has been successful in doing so.

Since Ubisoft games are not console exclusive for either PlayStation or Xbox gamers, adding Ubisoft+ to a Microsoft subscription service would do absolute wonders for them. Not to mention that Ubisoft has some pretty amazing franchises with the likes of Assassin’s Creed, Watch Dogs, and the Far Cry franchises just to name a few.

According to a very reputable Xbox insider Jez Corden, this has a very strong chance of being true just based on what he has heard as of late. If this turns out to be true, it won’t happen right now but most likely later in 2021. However, this is very exciting news, and with Ubisoft being such a massive video game company that would be very exciting for Microsoft fans.

For now, you can enjoy each of these subscription services on their own. Don’t be surprised to see Ubisoft+ make its way to the Xbox Game Pass because as of this moment there is a very high chance that it happens rather than not.
