We don’t know much about Elden Ring but the mysterious, yet highly anticipated title is already available for pre-order.

Elden Ring was officially confirmed about a year ago. The mysterious, yet highly anticipated title from FromSoftware is the brainchild of Hidetaka Miyazaki, creator of the Dark Souls series, and George R.R. Martin, author of A Song of Ice and Fire (which is what HBO’s Game of Thrones was based on).

Suffice to say, those are some pretty big names attached to the project, so it’s understandable why there is so much anticipation and hype for this game, despite so much of it remains a mystery. In the year since Elden Ring was announced, we’ve learned very little.

We haven’t seen proper gameplay. There’s no release date. So much of it has yet to be revealed. But that hasn’t stopped retailers from listing the game for pre-order.

Unfortunately, these listings don’t offer any additional details for Elden Ring. They simply reiterate that Elden Ring is a fantasy action-RPG that’s set in a world that has been created by Miyazaki and Martin.

The description also warns “danger and discovery lurk around every corner,” suggesting the game will at least post somewhat of a challenge to players; however, just how difficult it will be remains to be seen. We know it’s FromSoftware’s largest game to date, but will it be the hardest?

There’s so much we don’t know about Elden Ring, but if you’re excited about the game, you can go ahead and pre-order it starting today. It’s only announced and listed for Xbox One, PS4 and PC but I assume it will also be playable on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility.

Elden Ring isn’t the only game to be listed for pre-order despite not having a release date. Mass Effect Legendary Edition is also available as of this week.
