Cyberpunk 2077 cheats: Earn infinite money and XP with vending machines
Following this guide to earn unlimited money and crafting XP in Cyberpunk 2077 by simply taking advantage of the prices for items in vending machines.
Cyberpunk 2077 is full of glitches but not all of them are bad! In fact, some of them could even help you in the game. This particular trick isn’t necessarily a glitch, but I suppose it can be considered an exploit. Either way, it’s a perfectly fair way to earn infinite money and XP without doing anything too shady — like using the console commands.
The vending machine trick comes from YouTuber Osterberg501, and here are the steps you need to follow to farm for infinite money and crafting experience.
First, you’re going to run around Night City and purchase all of the items from the $10 (10 Eddies) vending machines (not the $5 items). Once you purchase all of these $10 items, you’re going to disassemble them to get common and uncommon crafting components.
Next, start crafting uncommon (green) armor and weapons. You’re going to gain crafting XP for each weapon crafted, so you’re essentially getting unlimited crafting XP.

Once you’ve crafted your items, you’re going to sell them to the vendor. Not only will you get the money you spent back, but you’ll make a hefty profit as well. Repeating this process will reward you with unlimited crafting XP and money.
As Osterberg501 notes, you can make even more money by putting perk points into the crafting tree. There are perks that provide more components when dismantling items, that allow you to craft additional items for no extra components and even sell crafted items for money to vendors.
I’m not even sure I would call this an exploit, to be honest. It’s more of a math calculation. It’s possible CD Projekt Red could adjust the cost and price of things via a patch if too many people take advantage of this but, personally, I say let players have fun with it. With a game as buggy as Cyberpunk 2077, why take some of the fun away?
