Cyberpunk 2077: Microsoft offering refunds on Xbox ‘no questions asked’

If you are not happy with Cyberpunk 2077, Sony and Microsoft are both now issuing refunds due to many in-game glitches and bugs.

Cyberpunk 2077, one of the most hyped up and talked about games of 2020, has been a complete flop due to an overwhelming amount of in-game glitches and bugs. Some Gamers have described the game as unplayable while other gamers have describes the game as a real joy to play. For the most part, people are experiencing a lot of problems.

Since reports of how many bugs and glitches that players have been experiencing, Sony has actually removed Cyberpunk 2077 from their online store and has been offering players refunds for anyone who bought the game digitally if they so choose they want the refund. Microsoft hasn’t taken it to the extreme to actually remove the game off of their online market place, but they too have also stated that they have refunded basically anyone who has asked them for a refund and will continue to do so until further notice.

Refunds are even being processed on the Xbox Series X and Microsoft is stating the refund as “no questions asked.” Unfortunately, the only catch is that they are only offering refunds for digital copies of the game. If you have the disc version of Cyberpunk 2077 then you are out of luck.

CD Projekt Red has been really apologetic with how the game has turned out and stated that the game was made under unprecedented times. CD Projekt Red also stated that they expect to have some major updates to be released for Cyberpunk 2077 to kick off 2021.

With all the hype that Cyberpunk 2077 has received, it is a shame to see a launch like this flop so hard to the point that refunds are being given out. It was even shocking to see Sony strip it off of their PlayStation online store. Hopefully, once updates roll out to fix these problems, the game will live up to everyone’s expectations that they had pre-release.

If you are truly unhappy with your Cyberpunk 2077 experience up to the point where you do not want to own the game anymore and you have a digital copy of the game, Sony and Microsoft will offer you a refund to help suit your feelings.
