It’s December and the holidays are right around the corner. Animal Crossing: New Horizons has some holiday items to make your island a bit more festive.

It is hard to believe that December is already here and the holidays are right around the corner. Animal Crossing: New Horizons seems to be in the holiday spirit as they have made a couple winter/holiday items available for all their users to enjoy.

I love when video games have seasonal in-games items for their gamers. It makes the game feel more realistic and also gives players more customization to go along with present times.

If you take a stroll into the Nook Shopping Catalog in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you will find two new items available for purchase. The first item you will come across is a stunning aurora borealis wall. Called the Aurora Wall, this wall looks like exactly what you think it would look like, the aurora borealis. As a fan of the real aurora borealis, this is a great winter item to add into the game. When people think of aurora borealis, they tend to lump it in with Winter and snow. Even most of the pictures that you search up on the internet related to aurora borealis have some sort of snowy scenery because some of the best places to see it in person are in cold and snowy locations. If you want to purchase the Aurora Wall in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it will cost you 7,000 bells.

This is something that I would highly suggest you jump on now while you have to chance to get it. This item most likely will not be in the market forever. If you have the bells and love looking and great color combinations then pick up this item now.

If you want to dress up in holiday gear, the Nook Shopping Catalog also has a midwinter sweater that features a neat reindeer design on the front of it. This sweater is much cheaper than the Aurora Wall and only costs 1,200 bells. Both of these items can be found under the seasonal tab in the Nook Shopping Catalog and will only be available to purchase through December 31st.

For people who are familiar with the Animal Crossing franchise, you know that Toy Day is also on its way. If you aren’t familiar with Toy Day, that is Animal Crossing’s annual Christmas event. In fact, Nooks Cranny has already been selling festive toys ahead of Toy Day.

If you head over to the seasonal corner of the store, you will see a brand new toy on display each day until Christmas Day. You never know what other cool items will be available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons so make sure you keep your eyes peeled on what else is to come.
