Birthdays aren’t the only things you’ll be celebrating in Animal Crossing: New Horizons this October.  Halloween is this month and starting today, September 30, Fall has officially arrived in the game.

You’ll notice “spooky touches” around your island to help get you into the spirit and there are special costumes and character customization options, DIY projects and other festivities planned. You can plant pumpkins and then use those pumpkins to craft items. On October 31, you can trick or treat around your island, giving candy to your neighbors and receiving treats (or tricks) in return. And don’t forget to say ‘hi’ to Jack, the czar of Halloween, when he drops by.
