Turtle Beach Stealth 600 and 700 Gen 2 headsets coming September 20

Turtle Beach announced today their their new Stealth 600 Gen 2 and Stealth 700 Gen 2 gaming headsets will be available at retail on September 20.
PlayStation 5 news isn’t the only thing we got this week. Gaming headset company Turtle Beach announced the dates that their new Stealth 600 Gen 2 and Stealth 700 Gen 2 gaming headsets will be available at retail for purchase.
These new Turtle Beach headsets are designed and marketing for working with both Xbox and PlayStation cross-generation consoles. The PlayStation Stealth 600 and 700 Gen 2 will work with both the PS4 and PS5, while the Xbox versions will work with the current Xbox One, One S and One X, as well as the upcoming Xbox Series S and Series X. The headsets are also compatible with mobile and Windows PC devices, so you’re set with next-gen compatibility if you get one.
Here are the dates you can purchase them in store or through a retailer’s website:
- Stealth 700 Gen 2 for Xbox and PlayStation – Sunday, September 20
- Stealth 600 Gen 2 for Xbox – Sunday, September 20
- Stealth 600 Gen 2 for PlayStation – already available
Both the Stealth 600 Gen 2 and the Stealth 700 Gen 2 are wireless headsets, coming in at $99.95 for the 600 Gen 2 and $149.95 for the 700 Gen 2.

The Stealth 600 Gen 2 features a high-sensitivity, flip-to-mute mic, a new shape to the ear cushions that make them glasses friendly, 50mm speakers, and better headband and hinge design to help improve durability. The Stealth 600 Gen 2 features 15-hour battery life.
The Stealth 700 Gen 2 features Bluetooth connectivity allowing you to connect the headset to the Turtle Beach Audio Hub app and have the ability to take calls or listen to music while connected to your console.
Everything else in the Stealth 700 is similar to the 600, but upgraded. It boasts a 20-hour battery life, is also glasses friendly, has a metal-reinforced headband for even more durability, and the speakers are 50mm Nanoclear speakers surrounded by cooling gel-infused memory foam ear cushions.
