Far Cry 6 is set to feature a pretty big named television star.

Gamers can thank the Hong Kong PlayStation digital store for the recent leak of Far Cry 6. Gamers can thank Ubisoft even more for confirming that Far Cry 6 will be shown at Sunday’s Ubisoft Forward Conference.

This is very exciting news for people like myself who are fans of the Far Cry franchise. These games have been really great and give you tons of things to try and accomplish. The Far Cry video games have always had very eye-appealing graphics and tremendous story.

Ubisoft is going to even further try and up their story-telling intensity by adding a very familiar Breaking Bad star, Giancarlo Esposito. Giancarlo Esposito will be playing a brand new antagonist that will be going by the name of Anton Castillo. Adding a television star from Breaking Bad, arguably one of the most popular TV shows of all time, is sure to lure in more gamers than Ubisoft is going to be expecting.

Video games have consistently and gradually popularized over the past few years and they have seen an even bigger increase in 2020 more than any other previous year. Video games are basically a form of an interactive movie. Most of them have plots, heroes, villains and even emotion. There are even cases where video games have better story-telling and emotion than some box-office movies offer.

That being said, I think actors and actresses are starting to realize that and are going to be more inclined with taking on a role in a video game. There is a lot of money for them to be made there as well.

The plot of the game that was shown in the Hong Kong PlayStation store describes it as follows: “Welcome to Yara, a tropical paradise frozen in time. As the dictator of Yara, Anton Castillo is intent on restoring his nation back to its former glory by any means, with his son, Diego, following in his bloody footsteps. Their ruthless oppression has ignited a revolution.”

Something else that is even more exciting, and kind of expected, is that the game will be available on both the current and next-gen video game consoles. The estimated released date for Far Cry 6 is set to be February 18, 2021. However, with everything going on in the world right now, we all know that release dates are tentative and not set in stone.

With Ubisoft set to make Far Cry 6 a little more clear on Sunday, I guess we will have to wait and see what exactly they say and show about the new game.
