Jorge Masvidal and Israel Adesanya are expected to be the UFC 4 cover stars.

EA Sports UFC 4 was expected to be revealed this weekend as part of the UFC 251 pay per view event on July 11 but it seems Microsoft may have jumped the gun.  Eagle-eyed viewers over on Operation Sports spotted a premature posting on the official Microsoft store. While the listing has since been pulled, the details, including the UFC 4 cover stars, were captured.

For starters, the description seems to suggest that you’ll be able to create and customize your very own fighter. There’s also mention of a Beta, which could go live this weekend alongside the reveal. The now-removed teaser reads:

"“Shape Your Legend in the EA SPORTS™ UFC® 4 Beta.In EA SPORTS UFC 4 the fighter you become is shaped by your fight style, your achievements, and your personality. No matter how or where you play, EA SPORTS UFC 4 puts ‘you’ at the center of every fight.”"

In addition to the description, the posting also seemed to reveal that the cover stars for EA Sports UFC 4 will be Jorge Masvidal and Israel Adesanya. Both fighters are incredibly skilled and among the promotion’s biggest stars.

Masvidal has become one of the UFC’s brightest stars. Although he’s been around for quite a while, he’s only recently risen to fame thanks to some highlight-reel knockouts. He currently owns the UFC record for the fastest knockout after catching Ben Askren with a devastating knee and knocking him out in just five seconds at UFC 239 in July 2019.

Masvidal then became the UFC’s official BMF (Baddest Motherf—er) by defeating Nate Diaz at UFC 244. This weekend, he has the chance to become the welterweight champion when he takes on Kamaru Usman. Suffice to say, as one of the UFC’s most exciting fighters, he deserves his spot on the cover of UFC 4.

Israel Adesanya, aka “The Last Stylebender,” is the UFC middleweight champion and also one of the promotion’s most intriguing fighters. Confident and skilled, Adesanya has the talent and charisma worthy of a cover star.

EA invited PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players to sign up for the closed beta back in June, essentially assuring the game will release for these two platforms later this year. We can probably also expect it to be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X as well once those next-gen platforms launch this holiday season.
