KOEI TECMO America revealed two more additions to the upcoming game Fairy Tail with a new character and storyline reveal ahead of the June release.

KOEI TECMO America is still hard at work on Fairy Tail, the upcoming JRPG developed by GUST Studios. They proved it by announcing two additions to the upcoming JRPG.

The first of which happened to be the inclusion of playable character Gildarts, bringing the total roster of characters up to to 16. GIldarts is one of the most powerful additions to the roster who uses ‘Crush’ magic to reduce things to rubble.

Throughout the game, there will be plenty of characters that fans of Fairy Tail will be able to use to assemble a dream team. With a mechanic in the game that allows characters that fight in the same party together to strengthen their bonds and friendships, the more that becomes available. Like ‘Bond Dialogue’ that is written specifically for the FAIRY TAIL game.

That wasn’t all though, as KOEI TECMO revealed the first details of the game’s Eclipse story arc. The Eclipse arc was a popular storyline revolving around ‘Project Eclipse’. It centers around an experiment that opens up a gate to the past, unleashing Dragons that lived over 400 years ago into the present timeline.

Fairy Tail is set to be released in North America on June 26, 2020, for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, and on June 25, 2020, for Windows PC via Steam.
