The latest ratings update for NHL 20 dropped and Toronto Maple Leafs right wing Mithell Marner has hit the 90 overall club. Check out the adjustments as of January.

As we enter the home stretch of the 2019-20 NHL season, EA Sports has released a new player ratings update for NHL 20. Dozens of player shave had their overall ratings adjusted as a result of their on-the-ice performances in real life.

Among the winners this round is Mitch Marner, the Toronto Maple Leafs right wing. With a plus one to his overall, he now joins the NHL 20 90-plus club. It’s a well-deserved bump too as he’s the 22nd-ranked player with 50 points on the season.

Interestingly, fellow teammate Auston Matthews did not receive a ratings increase, despite being one of the hottest shooters in hockey right now. In the past 21 games, he’s scored 20 goals. He’s also currently ranked 10th in points with 60. He’s rated 90 overall in NHL 20, but surely, given his streak, he was due for an increase.

In any case, Marner is joined by both Roman Josi, of the Nashville Predators, and Alex Pietrangelo, of the St. Louis Blues. Both players received one-point increases and now sit at 90 overall. Josi is actually one point ahead of Marner on the season. Pietrangelo, a defender, has 42 points on the year.
