Fortnite is celebrating Super Bowl LIV with the return of NFL Outfits  and the Twitch Rivals: Streamer Bowl.

Fortnite is no stranger to celebrating huge cultural events. From in-game concerts to blockbuster movie releases, the battle royale game knows how to host an event.

This weekend is, of course, Super Bowl Sunday, which may as well be a holiday in the United States at this point. Fortnite is celebrating one of the biggest sporting events in America with the return of NFL Outfits to the game.

Although the Team Rumble game mode will feature the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs, since those are the teams in Super Bowl LIV, all 32 NFL teams will actually be unlocked and available when you purchase the NFL Outfit from the in-game store.

The festivities don’t stop there though. Tonight starting at 5:00 p.m. ET, Fortnite will be hosting the Twitch Rivals: Streamer Bowl. This friendly competitive event pairs some of the best Fortnite players with NFL players. Among the participants are Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf and more.

There are 16 pairs competing in the event for a $500,000 charity prize pool. Check out the teams below?

More from Fortnite

Personally, I’ve got my money on JuJu Smith-Schuster. If you recall, the Steelers wide receiver made headlines in 2018 when he played Fortnite alongside Drake, Travis Scott and Ninja (Tyler Blevins).

Seeing as Smitch-Schuster played with the probably the best Fortnite player in the world, I imagine he picked up on some tips and tricks. But I also wouldn’t sleep on someone like Kyler Murray. At 22-years-old, I imagine he’s got plenty of gaming experience under his belt.

We’ll find out the true gamer tonight when the Twitch Rivals: Streamer Bowl main event kicks off at 6:00 p.m. ET. You can catch the event on Twitch.

In other news, Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 2 was recently pushed back and will now begin on February 20. The reason for the delay could have something to do with Epic Games moving Fortnite to Unreal Engine’s Chaos system.
