Title Update 4 for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 will release at some point this week, Ubisoft announced. Here’s what’s coming with it.

During this week’s State of the Game for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Ubisoft confirmed that Title Update 4 for the game will release sometime this week, although no specific date was announced. In any case, it’s an incredibly quick turnaround for the update, which only hit the PTS about two weeks ago.

Title Update 4 figures to be a big one, introducing the Gunner specialization as the game’s fourth endgame build option. Equipped with a powerful minigun and a focus on “sustained damage output and damage resilience,” the Gunner seems to address The Division 2‘s lack of build diversity by giving players a relevant tank option.

While the Gunner specialization is the highlight, Title Update 4 also features tons of bug fixes, adjustments to the Dark Zone and more. Official patch notes for the update will likely come when the update goes live this week, but here’s what was happening on the PTS when it first became available for testing.

Since then, Ubisoft has made some other changes, including tweaks Gear Mods. For starters, you can no longer equip Generic Gear Mods on high-end gear anymore. Additionally, the number of Gear Mod Types has been reduced from six to three: Damage, Utility, and Defensive.  With System and Protocol requirements removed, equipping mods should be easier as you play through the campaign and once you hit endgame.

Another exciting addition with Title Update 4 is the arrival of the first exotic gear item in The Division 2. The Dodge City Gunslinger’s Exotic Holster blueprint can be purchased from the vendor, but then requires you to collect the crafting materials through a small quest.

Title Update 4 is a big one, Ubisoft has even bigger plans in store for The Division 2 down the line. At E3 this month, the developer outlined the three planned episodes (DLC) for the game. Releasing for free throughout the year, the episodes will introduce new areas, missions,  game modes, rewards and exotic gear/weapons.

Episode 1: D.C. Outskirts is slated to release next month and take players outside the city. Episode 2 Pentagon: The Last Castle will introduce the second 8-player raid, while Episode 3 Brooklyn: Homecoming will take players back to New York City.

There’s a lot for The Division 2 players to be excited for this year and Title Update 4 is just the beginning.
