Marvel Contest of Champions, Marvel Puzzle Quest, MARVEL Strike Force, Marvel Future Fight, and MARVEL Battle Lines are all receiving Avengers: Endgame-inspired content.

Avengers: Endgame is undoubtedly the biggest Marvel Studios title to release. A movie more than 10 years in the making, it marks the culmination of Phase 3 and everything that has led up to it thus far in the MCU. Basically, it’s a pretty big deal and Marvel is celebrating accordingly.

Just about all of the major Marvel mobile games are receiving updates featuring content inspired by the upcoming blockbuster film. Marvel Contest of Champions, Marvel Puzzle Quest, MARVEL Strike Force, Marvel Future Fight, and MARVEL Battle Lines have either already received or will be receiving new content shaped by Avengers: Endgame.

Marvel Contest of Champions

Hawkeye was nowhere to be found in Avengers: Infinity War, but as trailers have hinted, he returns in Avengers: Endgame. However, he’s clearly not the same.

The cat is out of the bag by now; Hawkeye has become Ronin, a samurai, sword-wielding, lawless assassin. He’s brought his deadly sword and incredible fighting skills to Marvel Contest of Champions, Kabam’s popular mobile fighting game.

We haven’t really seen Ronin in action in either the movie or Marvel Contest of Champions, but based on the aftermath of what we’ve seen in the trailers for Endgame, he seems to be quite a deadly assassin.

Ronin is apparently just the beginning of Avengers: Endgame content, with more on the way. Perhaps more will be revealed after Endgame releases and we’re clear of big spoilers.

Marvel Puzzle Quest

Kicking things off is a new Endgame event in Marvel Puzzle Quest, allowing you to recruit the Mad Titan, himself. That’s right, Thanos — having now assembled the Infinity Gauntlet — now looks to balance the tile board.

Thanos is a 4-star villain that “punishes teams that play with Heroes and Special tiles.” He rivals S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Nick Fury, Moon Knight and Carnage, dealing the most damage to special tile users (specifically, Heroes).

Thanos can be unlocked within the game in a number of ways. He’s got increased odds to drop from in-game store purchases. He’s also available as an Alliance reward for the Avengers vs. Ultron event.

This week, Marvel Puzzle Quest will host a number of other events pertaining to Avengers: Endgame. This includes Unstable Iso-8 and Balancing Act, both kicking off on April 21.

On April 22, the Cinema Showdown will introduce a new mission every day featuring a key fight inspired by the film. Unfortunately, this sort of event also means possible spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, which doesn’t actually arrive in theaters until April 26. Hopefully, the event runs for longer than a week, giving us time to check out the movie before diving into fights inspired by it.

Finally, on April 25, the Infinite Pursuit event will see you join with the cast of Avengers to stop Thanos from completing the Infinity Gauntlet.

MARVEL Battle Lines

Nexon’s strategic card battle game MARVEL Battle Lines will feature various Endgame content introduced over the course of three updates.

The most recent update to the game added 100 new character and ability cards. Among the new content, you’ll find team suit cards for Captain America, Iron Man, Rocket Raccoon, Nebula, Black Widow, and Ant-Man. These sweet, new outfits have been seen briefly in the trailers for Endgame, but it’s still unclear exactly what they do. Perhaps Marvel Battle Lines will give us an indication.

Furthermore, Endgame-inspired cards for Hawkeye, Thanos, Ronin, Hulk, Rocket, Nebula, Black Widow, Ant-Man and Captain America have arrived.

It’s not all new cards, though. Introduced in this week’s update is a new PvP mode, Blitz. This “lightning fast” mode aims to speed up the battle with a new gameplay system that adds characters to the board according to deck order. These characters will automatically engage with the opponent in front of them.

Marvel Future Fight

Netmarble’s action role-playing game is all about putting together teams with synergy. And what better movie to stress that than Avengers: Endgame? Literally, what’s left of the Avengers must band together to take down Thanos.

More from App and Gaming News

Like Marvel Battle Lines, Marvel Future Fight is adding new Team Suits for Black Widow, Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, War Machine, Nebula, Rocket Raccoon, Ant-Man and Thor. Additionally, new Endgame costumes for Black Widow, Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, War Machine, Nebula, Rocket, Ronin, Thanos, and Ant-Man will be available.

Lastly, Mad Titan Thanos will be upgraded to Tier-3 which, of course, means a new power. If you look closely at the teaser above, you may be able to spot it.

This is the tip of the iceberg for Marvel Future Fight. Netmarble is hosting a livestream on Monday, April 22, at 6:30 p.m. PST to share more information for the Avengers: Endgame update. They’ll also detail their plans for celebrating the game’s fourth anniversary.

MARVEL Strike Force

Lastly, FoxNext Game’s role-playing game MARVEL Strike Force will be added Falcon next week. This will be the Infinity War variation of Falcon, a soldier “who excels at Alliance War and deals massive damage to enemies who have multiple positive effects.” Falcon will come with his EXO-7 Wingsuit, Dual SMGs and faithful companion, Redwing.

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters this week on April 26, bringing to a close Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Up next in the MCU slate of films is Spider-Man: Far From Home, which is officially the start of Phase 4. It’ll be interesting to see how the ending of Avengers: Endgame and start of Phase 4 shape the future of Marvel’s popular mobile games.
