Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order poster prematurely leaks ahead of the game’s weekend reveal
While Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be officially unveiled this weekend at Star Wars Celebration, a poster for the game has been prematurely leaked by Amazon.
As we draw nearer to Star Wars Celebration and the reveal of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, it seems Amazon has jumped the gun. The retail giant prematurely set live a product listing for what appears to be a commemorative t-shirt for the highly anticipated game.
Featured on the shirt was what looks like the first teaser poster for Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. While the product listing has since been taken down, eager fans were quick to grab screenshots.
The poster features a Jedi and what looks like a companion droid on the edge of a rocky cliff. The character’s back is towards us so we are unable to determine a gender, which might suggest the ability for the player to choose. The character is also wielding the signature Jedi weapon, a lightsaber. In the background, we see a crashed, Republic-era Star Destroyer and some Tie Fighters in the sky.
The description for the poster also reaffirmed some previously known details about the story of the game. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be set after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. Players will assume the role of a Padawan who somehow survives Palpatine’s Order 66, which resulted in the mass killing of all known Jedi. The game’s main protagonist would mean that there were at least two Jedi Padawans to survive the order; Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars Rebels is the other.

As I previously mentioned, EA has a lot riding on this game, especially given the publisher’s shaky track record with the Star Wars IP. In the six years that EA has held exclusive publishing rights for Star Wars, they’ve only managed to put out two mediocre Battlefront games. For many fans, and probably Disney as well, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is EA’s last chance to prove themselves. Thankfully, the game appears to be in competent hands with the folks over at Respawn Entertainment.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be officially unveiled this weekend during a Star Wars Celebration panel featuring Vince Zampella, head of Respawn Entertainment, and Stig Asmussen, game director. The reveal will take place at 1:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, April 13.
